Welcome to Stoke College
Children here are busy and happy and they become confident in everything they do. They look forward to coming to school where learning is fun and everyone is valued. Each and every child in the school is taught according to their needs and abilities ensuring that their personal talents are nurtured and that they achieve at the highest possible level of which they are capable, not just in academic studies but in arts, technologies and sports, developing their communication and life skills at every stage of their education.

The school is refreshingly down-to-earth, the culture is non elitist and unpretentious and the school is the school of choice for families seeking the benefits and privileges of an independent education – but an education with a difference!

At Stoke the end goal is to help produce self-confident, successful and capable young people.  An 'Old Stokesian' will also have a broad mind, a respect for others, a desire to make a positive contribution in all aspects of life, and a clear appreciation of the value of happy schooldays.

"The overall academic and extra-curricular achievement of all pupils is excellent."
"The personal development of pupils is outstanding. They are well mannered, respectful of others and tolerant of difference." Independent Schools Inspectorate, 2012

Admissions

Set in 25 acres of beautiful, historic parkland on the banks of the River Stour – Stoke College is an idyllic environment which offers the finest start in life. Children can join the school in any of our three Departments, Nursery, Prep or Senior.

Stoke is an independent, fee-paying school and fees include lunches. We offer a variety of boarding options and day pupils are, by arrangement, able to arrive early and stay in the evenings to help families balance parenting with busy working lives.
