Autumn Term 2007

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child 2007

Annie, Hettie, Fred and Josh, accompanied by Mr. du Plessis, deliver the 92 Operation Christmas Child boxes created by Stoke pupils to Nina Harding at Clare Baptist Church.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan's Purse that the school supports each year, and the pupils are very enthusiastic box fillers who are really pleased to help contribute to someone else's happiness during the Christmas period.

Art at Stoke

Hugh's winning piece of art from the ISA East Art Competition 2007

We are delighted to report that some of our pupils' splendid art work was entered in the ISA East Art Competition which was held last Thursday evening at Finborough School.
Two Pupils were successful in the 14 and under age group. Matthew was second and Hugh WON! His work will now go to the national final to be held in the Midlands later this week. Good luck and well done Hugh.

...and Hugh was second in the national competition!  Well done.  The Judge said that Hugh’s picture showed an individual interpretation of a well known theme so Hugh deserves his prize.
