Sports Day
Friday 15th June

Congratulations to the Unicorns for overall victory in the Senior School Sports Day and to the Lions for overall victory in the Junior School Sports Day

Sports day was very successful and enjoyable this year with its new format.  The Junior School event was held during the morning followed by a picnic lunch while the senior event followed during the afternoon with Pimms and Strawberries served to happy watchers.  The sun even shone and after the poor weather of the last few days we felt very fortunate indeed.

Fun events at Junior School Sports Day 2007
The Junior Sports Day contained a selection of events designed to include as many children as possible and be a great deal of fun in the process.

Mr King commentates through lunch
Mr King (as compere) held the whole day together with his trademark wit and style, not even finding time to eat his two lunches!

Senior School Girls Sack Race 2007
Taisy won one of the senior fun events, the sack race.

Florrie wins the 300m at Sports Day 2007
The girls 300m was a much more serious event with Florrie (as she has done on many occasions) beating the opposition.

Katie and Fred collect the Senior Sports Day trophy from Mr Gibson
Sports Day is always keenly contested with great competition between the houses.  This year the Unicorns were victorious in the Senior School events, with Katie and Fred picking up the trophy at the end of the day.
