Stoke College Crest
We have been working, for the past few months, on a rebranding exercise that will see a new prospectus coming out shortly. We have also looked at the school crest along with associated letter headings and so on.
We are delighted with the outcome and have decided to use the new design on our website immediately. I hope you like the effect!
When we launch the new artwork fully (later in the term) there will be an opportunity to learn more about the component parts of the new crest. Thanks to Dowie & Co for their excellent work on this exciting project.

Microsoft Case Study

In addition, the school's adoption of Microsoft Office 2007 has now been announced on a worldwide stage. Microsoft have just completed an investigation into the use of Office at Stoke College and have published a Case Study which you can view if you click here .

The running track and cricket square being prepared for the Summer Term
It is good to see the running track being laid out, as well as the cricket wicket being prepared for the new season. The swimming pool is also being prepared, ready for the start of the new term.

The Pavillion in April 2007
More work has also been done on the new sports pavillion, resplendent in its pan tile roof. There is still plenty to do, particularly to the interior, before it is complete.
There are plans to have a 'decking' area out front and there will be more fundraising events over the summer to make this possible.

Miss Elliot's ashes rest peacefully under this acer.
Some website watchers will know that Miss Elliot founded the school in 1951. You may also know that she died in the spring of 2002, aged 94!
She is buried under this Acer in sight of the sports fields; an area she used to frequent with great pleasure during her life.
