Honorary scholarships are available to pupils who show exceptional ability in a major area of school life, academic or extra-curricular.

• Scholarships have no monetary value but the names of scholars will be proudly displayed on Scholarship Boards in the Main School entrance hall.

• Scholarships will only be awarded to candidates who, in the opinion of the school, show exceptional ability.

• A candidate can be of any age so long as exceptional ability can be demonstrated in the chosen subject or activity.

• The award is for the duration of the scholar's career at Stoke College.

• In the event of a scholar, at any time during his or her career at school failing, in the opinion of the school, to maintain the desired standard of commitment and work, the Head may cancel the scholarship.
