The staff's abilities to find each pupil's strengths and make the most of them is one of the most notable features of the school. Alongside this, the children get to know, in a balanced way, who they are and what it is they can reasonably achieve in life.

Social skills develop well - how nice it is when one comes to Stoke College to meet youngsters who will look you in the eye when they talk to you, who speak audibly, and who will hold a door open for you.

We encourage all children to take responsibility for themselves, to be independent, and to have sufficient confidence to take initiatives when needed. We encourage all children to share, care, and enjoy friendships, while engendering tolerance and an ability to be self-assessing.
