R and J - the Senior School Musical

The Senior School production of ‘R and J’ played to packed houses at the Haverhill Arts Centre.
Shakespeare’s tragedy of Romeo and Juliet was adapted and updated by Mrs Howarth with the assistance of the Year 10 GCSE Performing Arts group.
This genuinely fresh take on an oft-told tale was given a 1960’s setting and included numerous well known songs of the era which included ‘House of the Rising Sun’ and ‘You can’t Hurry Love’.
Our star-crossed cast provided a sumptuous feast for both eye and ear. Well done to cast and crew!
