Best ever GCSE results!
Congratulations to Year 11 who have just achieved the college's best ever set of GCSE results!
Twenty five students sat GCSEs in the Summer of 2011. Twenty one of these achieved 5 or more passes at C or above, including Maths, English and Science.
This is an pass rate of 84%, and it compares very well indeed to the Suffolk average of 56%.
The underlying ability of these students very closely matched the national average, so to exceed the national figure by such a margin represents an outstanding performance. Special mention must go to the English Department. Every candidate passed English at C or above this year.
