Mini-Fȇte fundraising for Kenya trip
A Mini-Fȇte has been organised for Tuesday 13th September, from 2 - 4pm in the Walled Garden.
The aim of the Mini-Fȇte is to help raise funds for the forthcoming trip to Kenya. The trip will be through the organisation Camps International, and it is designed to help the local community through a variety of different projects e.g. improving local facilities (schools and houses) in addition to conservation works in order to protect the wildlife.
Expect local home produce, jams, cakes, handmade gifts, white elephants, plants, books, tea and coffee, live music, guided tours of the historic buildings and grounds, and a car wash!
We were wondering if you would be willing to help us with this task? This could be done by donating second-hand items such as old vases, books, DVDs, CDs, tea cups and saucers, picture frames, drinks and other bric-a-brac etc. which we would then sell at the Mini-Fȇte. We would also be very greatful for any donations which we will put towards this great cause.
