Beyond the classroom
Outside the classroom life is very busy. The school productions are given much energy and time, as are the Gala concerts. In sport children compete against other schools from the ages of ten onwards. PE and dance lessons are taken by our PE department. Clubs run from 4.15 p.m. to 5.15 p.m. and range from Japanese to Archaeology, from the School Band to Karate. The swimming pool is constantly in use throughout the summer term and during the winter months we take years 1-4 to an indoor pool once a week to make sure everyone can swim.
We spend much time developing the children’s sense of the wider world through our charitable efforts. Recent projects have included funding a school in Africa, sending aid boxes to Romania and raising money for Lepra, the leprosy charity.
