After School
After school activities run from 4.15 to 5.15 p.m. when cooked supper can be taken with the boarders. From 6.30 to 8.00 p.m. we run Prep Club, which is a supervised homework session. So you can collect them at any time up to 8.00 p.m.
Of course children can always stay the night under our flexi-boarding scheme. Children love spending evenings in the boarding house with its friendly atmosphere, fun activities and professional supervision. Day pupils should wait to be collected in the area between the Senior School and the Prep School buildings, well away from motor traffic.
Day pupils must remain within the school grounds until they have been collected, or have boarded a school bus. This is to ensure their safety. Pupils remain our responsibility and subject to school rules, until they have been collected by parents.
Boarder's Prep
On occasion it may be necessary for parents to collect their children later than the end of tea at 6.15pm.
It is now possible for parents of pupils in year 5 and above, to book their children into Boarders’ Prep. Pupils will be looked after in the boarding house and take part in activities with boarders, including a homework session supervised by qualified teaching staff.
Parents can collect their children at any time up to 8pm Monday to Thursday at a cost of £6 per session, in addition to the charges for after-school activities and tea club.
Day Boarding
Day boarding encompasses all of the facilities offered by the boarding house without staying overnight.
Pupils can arrive at school at 7.30am and be collected at 8pm. They will be given breakfast and tea and take part in activities with the boarders, including prep sessions and after school hobbies.
Day Boarding is available Monday to Thursday for pupils in years 5 and above at a cost of £15 per day.
