Stoke College is celebrating its first set of A level examination results today. With so much discussion in the press regarding the difficulty of the new Maths A level, we were delighted that 50% of our Maths candidates achieved an A grade and that A grades were also achieved in Computer Science and the Extended Project Qualification. Total ‘A’ grades achieved were 17% and 56% were achieved at A*-C.
The majority of students achieved their first choice place at university and the courses they will be studying include Economics and Mathematics at Royal Holloway, University of London; Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) at the University of Kent; and Business Management at the University of Westminster.
We congratulate both staff and students for all their hard work and wish our class of 2019 every success in their future studies and careers.
