Clubs and activities have got off to a great start this term and of particular interest was the new cross-country running club, led by our Principal, Dr Lloyd. Ten students and three additional staff members who fancied a bit of lunchtime exercise headed out for a 3.5km short loop or a longer 5km run. We took in the furthest reaches of our own campus before venturing out on the quiet lanes around the school, reaching an impressive elevation and enjoying the stunning views that our local area has to offer. Although the staff failed to keep up with the front runners when they were given the all-clear to sprint ahead, we are all looking forward to doing it all again next Wednesday and improving our fitness while also spending time together away from the classroom.
