Stoke College in Suffolk celebrates GCSE success with 96% of results at 9-4 and 87% at 5-9

Following last week’s A-level results, Stoke College students were celebrating again today.

Principal Gareth Lloyd today said, ‘We’re so proud of all of our students’
achievements. Many congratulations to them; they’ve done really well in some trying circumstances. My heartfelt thanks to our amazing teachers who really have gone above and beyond for our students over the year, and to our parents for their fantastic support in such extraordinary circumstances.’

On the back of impressive A-Level results last week, these GCSE results solidify Stoke College’s new approach to learning. The new principal Dr Gareth Lloyd, who joined in May, has introduced a number of new initiatives including a new partnership with Barnardiston Hall Prep School and a programme of investment in the school’s facilities. Dr Rui Chen, currently Head of Mathematics at Scarborough College joins the school as Deputy Head (Academic) in September further cementing the schools new focus on academic excellence for all.
